2-Love

The Penguins, again, beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2. With Max Talbot coming back, no one thought he'd have the impact he had. Game Winner, how's that sound? Then Pen's looked good and the Flyers looked better than they did Saturday night. The way the Flyers scored, was by a miscue of no one covering Jeff Carter and a costly turnover at the blueline to give Mike Richards a short handed goal. The first one given up by the Pen's this playoff season. It was a better defensive game for the Flyers, but you can't hold down an offense like this for long. The small players are stepping up and the right players at the same time. Sidney Crosy ownded this game. They can't shut down Malkin in game one, but do a decent job on Crosby in game 1. Vice versa in game 2. I'm starting to thing it's impossible to stop either one at the same time. And if you do, who's left? Hossa, Sykora, and Malone? I'm only mentioning the a few from the 'Burgh's top 2 lines. I see the Pen's losing at least one game in Philly before having to come back home for a chance to take the series in 5. That is, if they play like they have all playoff series long. Hey, how about Tyler Kennedy dropping the mits with Scottie Upshall? Beat down, assault and battery. That final right hook was deadly. Kennedy may be one of the ugliest people I've ever seen, but he's such a pivotal scrapping player in the playoffs. Man, I hope he gets himself a goal. He deserves it. Marian Hossa is still putting good shots on the net and he game up with another goal last night. Awesome stuff! It's hard to believe just 3 short years ago, we couldn't even beat the lousy St. Louis Blues. And here we are knocking on Stanley's door.
