A New Arena; Oddly, a Pirates blow-out.

The playoffs for the Pens arrives in (as of Wednesday) 2 short nights. In the meantime, however, new drawings were released of the new arena to be built in Pittsburgh. They were reported to have said they plan to place a statue in one entrace of a "well known Penguin". Gee...let's think of who that could be. And if anyone reads this and thinks Jamior Jagr, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, or any other former Penguin besides Mario Lemiuex. E-mail me...and I will stab you in the jaw, via cyber E-mail, of course.

Ladies & Gentlemen. The Pirates scored 12 runs! Yes, double digits. John Russel kicked around the batting order and found that Mr. Sanchez was doing the team no good at a .222 avg and decided he was the Bucco's new lead off guy. Well, it worked. As did "Mighty" McClouth being bumped back to the two hole. Good stuff. However, I am dissapointed to see that in the team's individual leaders, Paul Maholm leads the pitching staff with a 4.58 ERA! I think it's safe to say that seeing that ERA settles itself and for every person's sake, leave it as it is. But then again, to brighten up the mood before I go. Xavier Nady is 4th in the NL with a .352 avg and is tied for the lead in RBI's at 32. Then there's Nate McClouth, 9 homers and he's only 4 behind All-Star Chase Utley and in the likes of other All-Stars Lance Berkman, Chipper Jones, and Pat Burrell. (Who amazingly hasn't committed suicide afte all the boo's in Philly)
